A very nice review about Vritomartis from Paul.
Yes. I’ve been away. And now I’m back, which is a bad thing. You may wonder why so let me tell you:
I’ve been to a very nice naturist hotel in Crete (one of the Greek islands). The hotel is called Vritomartis. The name stems from a Greek Goddess who was (and perhaps still is) the patron of fishermen.
What can I say about Vritomartis? A lot.
Previous posts on naturist beaches in Greece are not all there is to naturism. Naturism a thriving culture generously accommodated in the hospitality industry. Europe is one among the world’s prime destinations for naturist resorts, hotels and camping sites. The continent, a hub for naturism, hosts many five-star and four-star naturist establishments which offer luxury, quality service and a range of holiday packages. As a result, there is a wide range of activities to perform and several destinations that accommodate naturist holidays in Europe. Well this is a very short post, actually I was browsing the net while I was looking for more and more information about my last year experience in Crete. I am thinking for next year to visit again the naturist resort Vritomartis which is located in Chora Sfakion in Chania of Crete. Looking for a video actually in you tube i found out this interesting short film.
It seems that there are a couple of new things around the hotel area and I thing I really missed that place. Enjoy the video and get an idea of what really looks like!
So what are you doing for your holiday this year? A Gites in France? A villa in Spain? Camping in Italy? An ‘all-inclusive’ in the Caribbean? Mmmm – OK but how about something different? A holiday that may seem a little ‘risqué’ and one that when suggested to most people causes them to throw up their hands in horror. A naturist holiday?!
Yes – a naturist holiday. One where people spend most of their day lazing in the sun and swimming without any clothes on. It is a serious suggestion so please don’t stop reading!!
