A nudist cycling group is on a winning streak, after having its rejected Bulimba bike ride proposal approved at Murarrie.

Morningside Police Station decided last month to decline a proposal for the 2016 World Naked Bike Ride Brisbane to take place at Memorial Park in Oxford St.

Morningside’s Senior Sergeant, Barry Bullion, said the proposed route was too cheeky for the community.

“We deemed the location wasn’t really appropriate,” Sen-Sgt Bullion said.

“There are plenty of families with young children, especially on a Saturday when Oxford St is particularly busy.”

The Brisbane ride, now in its 12th year, has taken place at the ABC studios in Toowong, Wynnum ­Esplanade, Roma St Parklands and the Boondall ­Wetlands.

It will now take place at Queensport Rocks Park with the new location approved by police.
